About Dr. Sheldon Sullivan

In 2019, he was honored to earn the highest cumulative votes in the magazine's entire history. Apart from his years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Sullivan is a member of many esteemed dental organizations. He is a go-to source of education and knowledge for new and experienced dentists who want to refine their patient care and craft. Dr. Sullivan demonstrates his commitment to his patients every day.
Education
Dr. Sullivan graduated from University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA, in 1996 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
He is a graduate of Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, one of the most recognized cosmetic dentistry training programs in the nation.
He has also completed numerous courses at the esteemed Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and the Kois Center for Dental Excellence.
Dr. Sullivan has also served as a clinical mentor at Spear Education, a postgraduate education program to improve skills in cosmetic and restorative dentistry under the direction of the renowned Dr. Frank Spear.

The Invisalign Treatment Process
Consultation & Exam
During your first visit, your doctor will take a look at your bite and smile to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about your smile, Invisalign, or other treatment options.
Aligner Pick Up
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.
Check-ins
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to our office to pick up your next few sets of aligners. Every treatment plan is different, so this amount of time may vary based on your needs. These check-ins are essential to ensure your treatment is on track and that your Invisalign trays are fitting properly.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
